The Designer by your Side service is ideal for you if:
- You can share images with me of how you want your room to look and feel.
- You need guidance to source the elements of the design scheme.
- You lack confidence selecting the elements of the scheme and knowing they will come together successfully.
- You love browsing inspiring ideas, but you don’t know where to start sourcing from to make it happen.
How Designer by your Side works
- I will literally sit by your side, either in person or online, and we’ll look through your inspiration pictures together.
- We’ll talk about what it is that you love about each photo and together we’ll identify all the elements that are key to making this look work in your home.
- I’ll help you draw up a list of what will go in your redesigned room with your inspiration images to guide us.
- Either together we’ll research where the elements can be sourced from, or I can do this on my own if you prefer. I will draw on my knowledge and experience of furniture retailers, fabric books, lighting companies and paint and wallpaper brands to contribute actual products to the specification sheet.
- We will create a specification sheet, which is your blueprint to put the room design together.
- You will use the specification sheet to either buy the elements of your scheme yourself, or direct a tradesperson to decorate or install your design scheme.

What can the design scheme include?
Based on what you’d like to refresh in your home, the plan we put together can include many elements. This could be paint and wallpapers, curtains, blinds or shutters, carpet, wood flooring and rugs, furniture, upholstery, accessories and lighting. It can include whatever you would like it to!
What will be the end result of the Designer by your Side process?
At the end of the process you will have a specification sheet which details all the elements of the design scheme for your chosen room.
