If you are moving to a new home, or if you want to rethink and refresh your existing floor plan, a design vision document will help you.
It can feel overwhelming moving to a new home and with so many admin tasks needing your attention, you don’t want to miss the opportunity of maximising the potential of your new home.
Likewise, if you are extending or renovating your existing home there are lots of decisions to make and lots of time spent talking about the structural building elements. It can be all too easy to focus on the structure but not the look and feel of the space and how you will live there when it is finished.
This is where a design vision document can really help. With your input I will either suggest potential floor plan changes, or work with your new floor plan. I will suggest furniture placement and selection, design elements appropriate to your style, and functional elements so the rooms work how you want them to.
Depending on your brief I will present the scheme back to you in the most appropriate way. The image above is an example of a selection of images and a floor plan that I created for a customer recently. The entire document for this customer was 10 pages long and became a useful guide to steer them in making structural and design choices once they moved in.
The service can cost as little as £350, depending on the scope of your brief.
If you want to you can always upgrade a floor plan design to a colour scheme, or full room design project if you wish.
