I am passionate about creating bathrooms that excite and delight my clients. I listen carefully to your wants and needs and put together a design scheme that meets your brief and creates a beautiful bathroom.
A new bathroom is an investment in your home and I will make sure you get the most from your budget. I carefully think through the options for you for each element of the bathroom and select the best value fixtures and fittings for you. I will ensure that the tile colours and patterns work in harmony with the fixtures to create a bathroom you will love.
When the design is finalised, I will work closely with the fitter, creating a detailed brief for them to work from. I will be on hand to answer any questions, or work out any challenges during the installation.

How does the bathroom design process work?
INITIAL MEETING
At this one hour meeting I will listen to how you want your new bathroom, cloakroom or en suite to look, feel and function. Whatever is on your wish list you can tell me and I will reflect this in the design. I will take into account the character of your house so that the design sits well in your home. I will measure the room to be refitted and take some photographs.
RESPONSE
I will respond within 48 hours of our initial meeting by email to confirm the scope of work that we discussed. The response will also include my design and project management fee. If you are happy to proceed, I will start work on the design to transform your bathroom.
DESIGN PRESENTATION
I will return to meet you in person and present the design scheme, with room visualisations wherever possible. I will bring an edited selection of samples with me for you to choose from. This normally includes tile samples, metal finishes for fittings, floor samples and wall colour selections. I will make an initial selection of fixtures and fittings so that you can see how everything will come together. We will discuss the design and I will follow up on any amends you would like to make. Once you are happy with the design, we will move to the next stage.
QUOTING, SPECIFICATION AND BUDGET SIGN OFF
I will visit again with my bathroom fitter to discuss the design plan with him so that he can provide you with an installation quote. He will take a good look at the pipes, water system and electrics so he can provide you with an accurate price to fit the new bathroom.
Meanwhile, I will specify and quote for all the materials required. A benefit to being independent is that I can select materials from a range of sources, and make sure your budget goes as far as possible. My design skills will ensure your new bathroom has an elevated, designed quality with wow factor.
I will present you with a total budget for the project, and when you are happy with this, we will schedule the installation and I will order all the items.
INSTALLATION
I will draw up a visual brief for the fitter showing a scaled floor plan and the elements to be installed on each wall. I will visit early in the process to talk this through on site with him. All the products will be delivered to you on the fitter’s chosen date (normally day 2 of the fit). I will be on hand to visit during the installation and help you with any questions or challenges that arise.
THE END RESULT
I hope that the end result of your new bathroom will exceed your expectations. I will photograph your finished room and you will be all set to start enjoying your new bathroom!
